Ashley (she/her) is a Boston-based actor, playwright, songwriter, and multi-hyphenate theatre artist. Although she currently lives and works on the East Coast, her roots lie in the rocky coasts of Monterey, CA. She earned a B.A. in Theatre (performance concentration) with minors in Songwriting, English, and Writing from Northeastern University ('22). In addition to acting, she is also an avid writer specializing in playwriting and songwriting (with frequent forays into other genres!). A sampling of her plays can be found on New Play Exchange and some of her music, including her most recent self-produced EP entitled "June Gloom," can be found on Bandcamp and Spotify. When not engaging in the above mediums, her creative practice extends to vegan cooking, yoga, gardening, knitting, birdwatching, and dreaming about homesteading.
About Ashley

Artist Statement
I am passionate about uplifting new voices in theatrical spaces and creating work that takes seriously the voices and experiences of young women. I believe that theatre is the most human of the art form, and I aim to use the ephemeral experience of performance to appeal to the universality found in the specificity of storytelling.
I am also extremely passionate about artist wellbeing and the ways in which we can rework current structures to promote a greater sense of community and care for its artists.
